ACQUA IMAGEM has worked in the development and fine tuning of complete lines of fish feeds for important feed manufacturers in Brazil. With great experience in fish nutrition and feeding, the ACQUA IMAGEM technical staff has contributed specially with the development of feeds for the production of tilapia raised in intensive systems and feeds for tropical carnivore fish, such as de pintado (spotted shovelnose catfish – Pseudoplatystoma coruscans) and the pirarucu (arapaima – Arapaima gigas). Fish health management

ACQUA IMAGEM was a pioneer in fish parasites and diseases diagnostic services for the aquaculture industry in Brazil. ACQUA LAB – FISH PATHOLOGY

ACQUA LAB – FISH PATHOLOGY is ACQUA IMAGEM’S fish pathology lab. It helps producers and technicians in the prevention, diagnose and control of fish diseases. The veterinarian responsible for the lab is trained to perform several lab tests to diagnose the main parasites and bacteria affecting farmed fish. The ACQUA LAB – FISH PATHOLOGY also provides services to tilapia fingerling producers evaluating the efficiency of sex reversal procedures through the microscopic analysis of gonads.

ACQUA LAB – WATER

ACQUA LAB – WATER is ACQUA IMAGEM’S limnology and water quality lab. It develops practical tests and specific reagents for water quality analysis. The ACQUA LAB – WATER staff also provides technical services and training on water quality monitoring and control in aquaculture.

Technical support to commercial production for several fish species

ACQUA IMAGEM’s team has great experience in the production of fingerlings and grow-out of several fish species, specially tilapia, pintado (shovelnose catfish – Pseudoplatystoma coruscans), dourado (Salminus brasiliensis), channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus), pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus), tambaqui (Colossoma macropomum), peackok bass (Cichla ocelaris), black bass (Micropterus salmoides), trairão (Hoplias lacerdae), pirarucu (arapaima – Arapaima gigas), among others. This vast experience has allowed ACQUA IMAGEM to contribute with services for:
